Want to Help Support Our Adoption?

Ava is home! Naturally, Kari is itching to get back to her crafts, and now she has a new model! Continue to check out her blog to see the latest and greatest.

We now have a blog devoted to Kari's fundraising crafts! Please take a moment to browse the website and, if you like what you see, share this new blog with your friends and family! http://avaadoptionfundraising.blogspot.com/

Delay in Our Travel Plans.

We just found out today that there won't be any baby girls available until sometime in October, which pushes our trip back to somewhere in the October/November timeframe. We were "in gear" to travel this weekend, so this news was not easy to hear. Please pray for us as we look to refocus on this new time frame; pray that there are no more complications and that we will meet Ava in God's perfect timing. We know that God is sovereign and he has our and Ava's best interest in mind, but still, these setbacks are difficult. We may not hear any big news for a month or so, but we will keep all of you updated in our journey.

We thank all of you who are constantly praying for us and Ava. We could not go through this process without the amazing support system we have.

What a bummer Kari! I pray for comfort and peace during this long waiting period...God will deliver little Ava to you in His perfect time!

God bless,

What a joy to know that we can wait for God to do his good work. We know he wants to protect this whole process and to bring little Ava home.

Hi, we are also due to travel in Nov. We are going to Ust-Kamenogorsk to adopt a baby girl. What region are you going to? perhaps we will be in Kaz at the same time.

Good luck to you both, I am so excited to see that families are still getting LOI and traveling! I can't wait to see pictures of your trip- hang in there, soon you will be holding your little girl (I am sitting in the MFA, you are my hope right now!!).
