Why We Are Adopting
Through lots of talking, thinking, and most importantly, praying, we decided that God wanted us to adopt our first child. Where to adopt from was the big question. After God shut the door for us to adopt from Guatemala, we began looking at Kazakhstan. We fell in love with the pictures we saw of beautiful children, rich culture, and gorgeous scenery. Most of all we felt the strong calling to be "Mommy" and "Daddy" for a child who otherwise would not have one. We are near the end of a long, emotional and draining process and we know that it will be worth everything once we bring little Ava home!

It looks like she still has her hair!! I know that makes Mommy very happy!
I was just going to say the same thing-she looks big and they have NOT cut her hair! YAY for the tiny things in life ;-) She is still sooooo cute!
Yes, I noticed her long hair too, peeking out from beneath the pretty green cap. when she comes home, you will be able to french braid her hair with RED ribbons in it. Too pretty! We are looking forward to having Christmas with her at home with her Momma and Dada! And the pup and the kitters!
