A Quick Update

Well we've had a fun first few days here in Pavlodar. It's been great to see little Ava again. Every visit she becomes more and more like the Ava we knew 6 months ago. She has such a contagious smile and laugh. We're not yet in our normal routine and we're waiting to see if Ava will go back to the orphanage today. The weather could play a part in getting Ava back to the orphanage, but either way we'll continue to see her. It has been SO cold; it was -30F yesterday, and on Tuesday we're expecting -40F. We have a meeting this morning that will kick off our bonding period. We'll update you on that later.

We're having some issue getting full access to our blog. Currently we are unable to upload photos. We should be able to find a fix later today, so hold tight for photos. If you're on facebook you can see some photos there, but we'll get our blog up-and-running soon.

I had a great time at my hospital sleep over with Ava. She didn't go to bed until 1:00 a.m. that little stinker! But, once she fell asleep she stayed asleep until morning. I didn't get much sleep that night but it was a fun experience that I wont soon forget.

Thank you all for your continued prayers! We are so thankful for you all.

How fun! She must have loved having you stay the night and then be there when she woke up the next morning! I cannot even begin to imagine how cold it must feel outside :/ We are actualy having some insane rain here this week! Love you guys! Hope the meeting goes well and they say 'Let the bonding begin!'

Kristie, Ava was there for a follow-up appt. It's no big deal, actually a little nicer because she's closer to us in the city.
