Our last few hours in Pavlodar...We're serious this time!

Since our last post our plans have changed about a zillion times...but we're used to that kind of life! We are leaving Almaty at 10:00 tonight and will check out at the Medical Clinic on Monday and the American Embassy on Thursday. Tuesday is when Ava's final document will be released so we can't finish up in on that day and on Wednesday the American Embassy doesn't conduct interviews. Thus, Monday and Thursday will be the "business" days of our trip and we'll fly out in the middle of the night on Friday (like 12:30 a.m. I think). On Tuesday and Wednesday we hope to see some of Almaty which is considered to be the most beautiful city in all of Kazakhstan. We've heard that there is a Zoo and some other fun centers for children.
Last night we met a great couple who just flew into Pavlodar. We are so bummed that they weren't here earlier so that we could have gotten to know them better.
Anyways, here are a few photos of our last days in Pavlodar. Next stop, Almaty. Next Next stop, HOME!

She is so determined to do anything and everything that all the other children can do.  This was a challenge for her and initially even I thought she couldn't make it without falling and tumbling to the bottom.  But, as always, she proves us wrong with her spunk and strong will.
Packa Packa Pavlodar!  Thanks for being home to our little Ava for all these years!

Yay, progress. Have fun in Almaty, I also hope the zoo will be open. I bet Ava will love it! Take that scarf she loves and the wiggles dvd on the plane and she can get up and dance away. Maybe you could have a hat on the floor nearby and the other passengers could express their enjoyment of her dancing :0)

Can't wait to get that call that you all have finally arrived on US soil safe and sound.

Love all of you so much,
Grandma
