I am already very certain that if Ava has any sisters in the future that they will be terribly jealous of that hair! Her Mama already is :-) It's thick but straight with natural light blonde and red highlight. People pay good money for that look!

Can you tell how dark it is outside in this picture? This is at about 5:00 when a massive thunder and lightning storm hit. Ava just loved it and watch the action .

Happy Father's Day, James!!
We just had a massive storm blow through Louisville the other day, it took out the power while I was at work, but then after a few hours it cleared up, the sun came out, and it was a gorgeous day - crazy!
Love and miss you guys! I even miss Ava, although we haven't met yet :)

What a special day for us dads, eh James? I couldn't ask for three more wonderful kids than Kari, James and Erica! I love you all so much and can't wait for "Grandparent's Day" to come b/c I am such a proud "papa" too.
