We had a blast outside today and Ava was full of bear hugs!
The Bags are in! For all of you that ordered bags from the local sewing club, they are here and they are beautiful. The women have already used the money to buy a second sewing machine and are working hard on quilts for the baby home. Also, they have been able to repair some of their own clothing items which has really helped them out.
This weekend we played cards with Peggy and Jan and James decided to do a magic trick for us all. He couldn't do it without his cape (my skirt)...too hilarious. We need these kind of things to keep us sane over here.

Oh I'm so sorry there is another delay. I'm praying that next tuesday is the last and final delay you have! You two are way stronger than I would be!
Ava is a doll- and you can see her growing and getting stronger! I'm glad James is feeling better too!
Hi Kari and James! I just read your entire blog and am so touched by your journey. It really takes an incredible couple to do what you are doing and endure every bump along the way. Ava is just beautiful and she really has the best parents ever. Stay strong, the end is near!
Love, Audrey and Colin
This is unbelievable! I'm so glad you're keeping your sanity. That's an important thing during such a journey. I just can't believe it's delay after delay for you guys. Almost 4 months in Kaz...all I can say is WOW! Tough it out as best you can. It's almost over now.
Yes, I agree with Audrey...the end is near! Just try to enjoy everything this week about Pavlodar, the baby house, the friends you've made and then get ready to catch the first flight home next week after court.(Can you tell I am thinking positively!!) The bags look beautiful and James looks like a real magician and of course Ava looks beautiful in purple with a pony tail too! We are so looking forward to our granddaughter snuggling with us!
Love you so much!
Mom

So glad to hear that James is feeling better, I was very worried. Very sorry to hear about the mixup and you have another week delay, my heart is sad for you guys and what you are going through. Hopefully, the tide is turning and the end is near!
