Next week, if we are here, we should be able to join one of the older groups at the Baby Home for a field trip. We are not sure where these trips will be but it will be nice to get out of the Baby Home and do something new with Ava.
Ava attempted riding a bike this weekend. We'll have to keep working on that one. She also had lots of fun throwing rocks into this puddle and watching the water splash!
James bought me this pretty necklace for our anniversary and Ava thought it was a new toy for her.

A lot of prayers are with you for Monday. You guys are getting to be wonderful photographers, you always have great pictures. Love all three of you, Mom
Hi Kari & James - I follow your blog all the time and am praying for you. I will stop and pray at 9 pm here as we are in Ciudad Juarez. I have experienced only a tiny bit of what you are going through as we have been here for 10 days and can't leave because Jose Luis visa package has not arrived. We should have received word last Wed or Thurs. We don't know if the packet will say yes or know because of my low income as a missionary. The frustration of having our lives controlled by the government of the U.S. who basically is just sitting on our paperwork and the expense of living here is hard. I think of you all the time and how strong you are to go through all this, not being able to make a move and leave with your daughter. We do not want to be in Ciudad Juarez and we want to return to our lives. It is very hard to understand what is happening to you from the heavenly realm but we know God is in control and He is on the throne and He will bless your obedience. I love you and can't wait to see Ava. Praying in Jesus name! Love, Cindy
I am praying for you. Hang in there- I hope to hear good news! Hugs.
