Every time we go outside Ava tries to walk out the front gate of the baby house. She seems fascinated with the cars and the world that exists beyond the baby house boundaries. Today her group took a little field trip outside of the gates and so we joined them and again tried to guess what was going on in that head of hers...
"I'm finally free! Oh how I've waited for the day when I could leave the baby house grounds and explore the outside world."
"Wow, look at all the people and cars and trolleys. There is so much I haven't seen."
"I just don't understand why Dada keeps stopping me from walking closer to those cars. Now I'm gonna get fussy."
"Please stop taking pictures of me and trying to distract me. I know that we are back inside the gate and I'm not happy about it."
"Mama and Dada tell me that someday very soon I will leave the baby house forever and come live with them. This is very exciting! For now, I have to stay here and play with my friends until that day comes."
This was my favorite picture from the day. Ava was so excited to explore the streets outside of the baby house and it was fun to watch the joy and excitement on her face. Don't get us wrong, the baby house is a warm and loving place with great staff but children are meant to experience all that this great big world has to offer and they definitely deserve to have parents that love them and encourage them to discover new things!
Being the crazy mother that I am , I saw this panda bear and realized it matched Ava's outfit for the day. Although my child hates stuffed animals I tried to force her to hold it for the sake of a cute photo. This is the best shot we got :-)
We thank you all for keeping up with our very long adoption adventure in Kaz. We love reading your comments and it helps a lot to know that there are people thinking of us and keeping us in their prayers.

I know that you have to be so eager to bring Ava home- to show her a world that she can't even imagine. I've heard several times that adoption is a match made in Heaven, and reading your journey- I believe that more and more! Ava has come a long way since you met her- you make me eager to meet my son! :)
So soon the little persian princess will fly home, isn't that funny that her name means what her fate is to fly away. I read that the Kazaks name the children to match their history and in alot cases they named them to protect them from evil forces. I can't wait until Ava can see Disneyland!!! Bella doesn't like Minnie Mouse or Micky. Once Ava has her own pets she will probably want to be a Veternarian.

The panda picture made my day! I always pick Anyas toys to match her for photos but I think it is hillarious that Ava doesn't like stuft snimals-so funny! But on the other hand she definitely seems active and outgoing and I can see where a stuft animal that doesn't do anything could be a little boring for her! You are going to have your hands full;-) In a good way! I hope you guys get to come home soon-you have well paid your dues in time!
oh and it is so hard to believe that your princess has any difficulties that could slow her down because they do not seem to have much impact on her demeanor or physically! She really seems like she will be such an amazing little person-so much determination and personality and positivity!
I love the captions that guess at Ava's thoughts-- very clever and make me smile! It is heating up in California-- can't wait to have Ava in swim lessons!! Thinking about you guys all the time andcan't believe it has been so long since you left! Looking forward to continuing on the journey with you, one day at a time until you can bring your girl home!! Thanks for all the posts : )
I loved Ava's smile in the last picture and I can't wait to hear her giggle! Love you all and give my granddaughter to be a huge kiss from mimi! xoxoxoxo mom
She is soooo beautiful! I hope you don't ever tire of hearing that. Ava has such spunk and fire, the world is her's to conquer. I hope you all get home soon, safe and sound. Best wishes, Susan from Austin
