T Minus One Week

Today was another beautiful day in Pavlodar. Even more so because we're only one week away from court! We hear the weather will be warming up through the weekend; we may see temperatures in the upper 80's! It should then begin to cool back down after the weekend.

There are now four families adopting in Pavlodar. You all know about Peggy and Jan. Well, a couple days ago we had lunch with Dave and Linda who are from Canada, and then today we crossed paths with another family from New York. Both are very nice couples and we look forward to meeting up with them again in the upcoming weeks.

Another high note from this past week is that we've had our hot water shut off for the past few days. We do have a water heater in the apartment but it didn't quite do the job. Needless to say we had a few days of cold sponge baths... but today it was turned back on!

Enjoy the photos from today's visits:

Another beautiful day outside with the same beautiful little lady!

We got to go outside the gates again! This time Ava loved holding the other children's hands.

Of course, we must take time to smell the roses.... errr flowers.

Although Ava loves to be swung around by Dada, posing for a
photo shoot is sometimes too long for her liking.

She's all happy again once she's back in charge.

Weeeeeee!!!!

Our daily modeling/photo shoot by the murals.

Since Mama or Dada can't read Russian Ava decided she would read it to us!

There are a bunch of these little platforms that the kids like to play on. In this photo Ava was spying on the other kids, and vice versa.

I love all of your photos today! And I am so impressed with the positive attitude you maintain while you wait! At least at the most you have 3 weeks left and one week until Ava is living with you guys-if I understand the process correctly. Thanks for keeping up on your blog-I look forward to checking it every day!
